Campaign Values
Strong Leadership
Walker County deserves steady, disciplined leadership grounded in experience and accountability. My career in federal law enforcement, executive management, and local public service has prepared me to lead with clarity, decisiveness, and integrity. Strong leadership means making informed decisions based on facts, not emotion; setting clear priorities; and ensuring county operations are efficient, ethical, and results-driven. As Commissioner, I will lead with transparency, communicate clearly with citizens, and make decisions that serve the long-term interests of District 2 and all of Walker County.
Foundational Infrastructure
Infrastructure is not political—it is foundational. Roads, bridges, water systems, public facilities, and emergency services are the backbone of a thriving community. My commitment is to ensure that Walker County’s infrastructure is properly maintained, strategically improved, and responsibly expanded to meet future growth. This includes prioritizing road maintenance and repair, improving drainage and stormwater management, and ensuring public facilities are safe and functional. Investment in infrastructure must be planned, measured, and fiscally sound—protecting taxpayers while strengthening our county’s future.
Fiscal Responsibility
Every dollar spent by the county government belongs to the taxpayer. Fiscal responsibility requires disciplined budgeting, careful oversight, and a long-term strategy that avoids unnecessary debt while preserving essential services. My background in overseeing complex budgets and investigative operations has instilled in me a deep respect for financial accountability. As Commissioner, I will advocate for responsible spending, transparent financial reporting, and policies that protect taxpayers from wasteful expenditures. We must prioritize core services, evaluate programs for effectiveness, and ensure that growth does not outpace our financial stability.
Public Safety
Public safety is the foundation upon which families and businesses build their lives. With decades of experience in federal law enforcement and local judicial service, I understand the importance of supporting our Sheriff’s Office, first responders, and judicial system. I will work to ensure law enforcement and emergency services have the resources, training, and infrastructure necessary to serve effectively. Public safety also includes proactive community partnerships, support for rehabilitation efforts, and the maintenance safeof roads and neighborhoods. A secure county fosters economic growth and strengthens community confidence
Open and Responsive Local Government
Citizens deserve a county government that listens, communicates, and responds. Open government builds trust. I am committed to improving communication between county leadership and residents by ensuring meetings, decisions, and financial information are accessible and clearly explained. I will be available, visible, and accountable to the citizens of District 2. Local government works best when it operates transparently, encourages public input, and treats every citizen with respect and fairness.
